On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, the students of Sophia High School came together to express their heartfelt gratitude to the brave Army personnel who dedicate their lives to protecting our nation.
The Army personnel were warmly welcomed by our students and gathered at the Basketball Ground, where the students had the opportunity to meet them and express their appreciation. The girls lovingly tied Rakhis on the wrists of the soldiers as a symbol of the sacred bond of Raksha Bandhan—the bond of protection, care, love and responsibility. Sweets were also presented to them as a small token of gratitude and affection.
The presence of the soldiers was deeply inspiring for our students and filled them with pride and admiration. Through this beautiful gesture, the students acknowledged the courage, dedication and selfless service of those who stand guard at our borders and protect the people of our country from harm, enabling us to live peacefully and safely with our families.
The celebration beautifully reflected the true spirit of Raksha Bandhan—a bond of love and protection that goes beyond family and reminds us of our responsibility towards those who protect our motherland.
The occasion was a memorable expression of gratitude, patriotism and respect for our brave soldiers, whose unwavering service keeps our nation safe.
