Diya Decoration Competition – 2026
24th October 2026
“Creativity is intelligence having fun.”
The Primary Section of Sophia High School, Mount Abu, organised a Diya Decoration Competition on 24th October 2026. The competition was conducted class-wise, with students enthusiastically bringing their diyas and decorative materials from home. They transformed their diyas within the given time into creative and beautiful designs, reflecting their imagination and artistic skills.
The class teachers shortlisted the ten best entries from each class, which were then judged by our Primary In-Charge, Sister Amrita. The beautifully decorated diyas were highly appreciated by her. The competition was also visited by our School Manager, Sister Arpita, and our Principal, Sister Aabha, who admired the creative displays and appreciated the efforts of the students.
The competition provided the young artists with a joyful platform to express their creativity and develop their aesthetic sense. The enthusiastic participation of the students, along with the guidance of their teachers, made the event a delightful success.
