Class 10th Farewell Report

The Farewell Ceremony for the outgoing Class 10 students of Sophia High School, Mount Abu was conducted with grace and heartfelt emotion, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. The programme opened with a solemn Prayer Service and a beautifully presented Prayer Dance, creating an atmosphere of reverence and gratitude. This was followed by a touching Farewell Song and energetic dance performances by the students of Classes 9A and 9B, adding vibrancy and celebration to the occasion.

The ceremony then continued with an inspiring message from Principal Sister Abha, who extended her blessings, guidance, and best wishes for the students’ future endeavours. This was followed by a deeply heartfelt and emotional speech delivered by the Head Girl, Lakshanda, expressing gratitude to the teachers, management, and staff for their constant support and affection. After this, the Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl presented a thank-you card to the Principal as a gesture of appreciation.

Sister then distributed mementoes as a token of love to all the Class 10 students. Following this, the most symbolic moment of the event—the Passing of the Flame, signifying the transfer of the school’s values and responsibilities to the juniors—was conducted with great reverence and emotion. To keep the spirit lively, fun games were organised for the students, filling the hall with joy and laughter. Prizes were also distributed to the winners, adding to their excitement and sense of achievement.

The ceremony came to a warm and gracious close with a lunch for students and teachers, marking the end of a memorable and heartfelt farewell celebration.
