Children’s Day Celebration Report
Theme: “Reach for the stars — You are born to shine.”
Sophia High School, Mount Abu celebrated Children’s Day with radiant enthusiasm. The celebration began with a warm welcome and a brief reflection on the significance of the day, honouring the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The programme opened with a solemn Lamp Lighting Ceremony and an enriching Prayer Service by the Secondary teachers. This was followed by delightful performances: a parody by the Primary teachers and a comic reel-style act with a still dance by the KG and Class 1 teachers, filling the hall with laughter.
Sir Chandresh then captivated the students with a mesmerising solo performance of regional tunes and popular Hindi songs. The school honoured student diligence with the distribution of 100% attendance certificates for both Primary and Secondary sections, followed by the awarding of House Trophies for First, Second, and Third positions.
In her inspiring address, Principal Sister Abha urged students to rise above challenges and shine with their unique brilliance. School Manager, Sr. Prema, subsequently declared FETE 2025 open.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant Fete featuring food stalls, games, a Lucky Pick corner, and a Music Request stall, making the day lively and memorable. The programme ended at 1:00 p.m., leaving students and staff with cherished memories.
